Malaysia’s construction sector increased 8% in 2017

Chief executive Datuk Ahmad Asri Abdul Hamid told a press conference the volume is expected to increase in 2017 by 8%.

Petroliam Nasional Bhd’s refinery and petrochemical integrated development in Pengerang, Johor, the Mass Rapid Transit Line 2 in the Klang Valley, the Pan Borneo Highway in Sabah and Sarawak is one of the major infrastructure project.

President Foo Chek Lee, Master Builders Association Malaysia said construction player will now be concerned to increase their quality, safety and their professionalism.
