KOTA KINABALU: The second ammonia plant will be built by Sabah Oil & Gas Development Sdn Bhd (SOGDC) next to Sabah Ammonia Urea (SAMUR).
According to Assistant Minister of Industrial Development, Datuk Bolkiah Ismail, this plan is being reviewed by the SOGDC’s board of directors.
He said Sipitang Oil & Gas Industrial Park (SOGIP) is trying to seek for suitable investors that use natural gas as the primary source of processing.
He added that there will be 409 opportunities of work that in SOGIP and about 259 posts have taken by the locals.
